Pool Construction Timeline

Initial Design & Consultation
Your backyard oasis dream starts with Palm Pool & Spa's initial contact. Reach out to us via email, phone, or contact form. From there, our family is ready to start your design and consultation - schedule a visit to our Wellington or Port St. Lucie showroom and meet our family!

Contract Signing, Approvals & Permitting
The ink is on the dotted line, and you are ready to embark on your new project with us. Before we dig your pool, we must get some back-end paperwork done. This includes but is not limited to HOA approvals, permitting paperwork, and getting together documents for your build. Don’t fret – our team handles all of this in-house.

Dig & Excavation
After your approvals and your permit is out – your dream pool is ready to be dug! Also, done by our in-house team, starts to dig out your new pool to the plans provided. It is important to note, the dig process is a heavy construction step, and our team has focus on respecting your property, other neighbors’ properties, and the environment.

Form & Steel
Dig has been completed, and our steel crew comes in to form up your pool. This is a necessary and also important process to ensure that your pool meets structural requirements and longevity of the shell of your pool.

Gunite
The gunite trucks are out in the front of your house, and the crew is in the back – shaping your pool. From the design process, you can see in this step your backyard dream start to come to fruition.

Backfill, Compaction & Plumbing
After gunite, your pool will be stripped of the wooden supports and backfilled with dirt, then compacted for environmental protection. The plumbing process is a delicate and important process, as it is the driving factor on ensuring your pool is operating correctly. Outfitted with quality materials, our in-house crew once again completes these steps.

Equipment
Next, your equipment goes into the pool – the brain and heart of your new Palm Pool. Palm Pool & Spa, Inc. exclusively works with Jandy products, ensuring customers’ get the highest-quality of equipment and lasting products for years to come. All Jandy products come with a bumper-to-bumper three (3) warranty – no questions asked.

Tile & Coping
Considered one of the fun parts, you can now see your unique expressions and designs be shown on to your new build with us. Our in-house crew works meticulously to ensure a perfect and quality finish. Our coping is perfectly set for elevation on the pool beam, reinforcing precision from start to finish, leaving no room for error in your project. Choose from over 500+ tile selections from our NPT lines at our showroom.

Deck Material
Choose from several choices of deck material in our showroom to create the perfect backyard surrounding of your pool. Whether it be a clean, white finish of white marble, or the traditional paver look – Palm Pool & Spa, Inc’s. in-house team takes into account your property, the plans, and materials when laying the deck for your pool.

Interior Finish
The last step of your pool build is completing the interior of your pool. Palm Pool & Spa, Inc. proudly uses PebbleTec for our interior pool finishes, significantly better than our competitors’ interior finishes. Choose from over 75+ different colors, options, and variations to outfit your pool. Carefully applied for your enjoyment.

Post-Build
It is time to start-up your pool and enjoy the post-build phase. We do not leave after we are out of your hair in the construction phase. Palm Pool and Spa, Inc. offers complimentary start-up services to ensure your pool is operating at an optimal level once your project is completed, and offers weekly pool maintenance to ensure the Palm Pool integrity lasts a lifetime.
